  • CrossFit is Like Fine Art...

    September 19th, 2012 / Comments (0)

Shot and edited by Jeremy Ramirez for the local Reebok CrossFit affiliate in Back Bay, this is what that NBC "Bodies in Motion" Olympic video should have aspired to be.

    Beautiful work, Jeremy.

This has been around for about a month now and we've been seeing it a lot in the movie theater. And you know what, unlike most ads that come up before the trailers begin (yes, we like to get to our seats early), we don't hate this one.

Of course, it kinda helps they cast one of our favorite local sports idols in it...

Solid work yet again from the folks over at Wieden.

  • Gillette Lights Up Boston Harbor For The Olympics.

    August 1st, 2012 / Comments (0)

Anyone get to see this in person at the ICA last week? Kinda wish something like this was actually part of the Opening Ceremonies in London...

Last Friday, just as the world finished watching the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, Procter & Gamble and Gillette staged an event by the Institute of Contemporary Art to wish Team USA a great start to The Olympics. The event was a spectacle of light and water featuring 60-foot holograms of Team USA athletes Tyson Gay launching off the blocks and Ryan Lochte diving into historic Boston Harbor. Set to a soundtrack featuring M83's "Steve McQueen", the event officially launched Gillette's global 'Get Started' campaign.
